Peonies / Nikon D1-X

If you have followed this blog, you know how I feel about the Nikon D1-X. A truly superb machine. It had many problems but the image quality was excellent. These peonies at the Brooklyn Botanic, have been removed for reasons that I cannot understand. This whole area was absolutely exquisite with is varied colors.

Monte Carlo / Canon 5D

A very clean place. Perhaps too clean; it made me nervous, I was afraid to accidentally drop the smallest thing on the sidewalk for fear of being arrested..

That lovely Chianti Region / Canon 5D

The Chianti region in Tuscany is exquisite. These were taken in late afternoon with the Canon 24-85 F 3.5-4.5 EF lens.

Dogwood / Canon 10-D

A glorious dogwood in blossom very close to home. Shot with the Canon EF 24-65 F 3.5-4.5.

Home flowers / Olympus E=PL2

Shot at home with the 14-42 II kit lens.

Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn long ago / Nikon F

This shot of Atlantic avenue was made with the Nikkor 35mm F2.8 on Kodachrome 25. It was scanned and there was practically no post processing.

Good old NY / Canon 5D

The area around the Flat Iron Building is my favorite area of the city. This shot was taken on East 23 Street with the 35mm F2 EF canon lens.
