A pleasant summer evening
We went to a restaurant in Jamaica Bay in Queens, NYC to celebrate my son's Josef's birthday so I could not pass by that magical light that is created at dusk.

The pigeons of piazza San Marco
One of the main attractions for tourists in Piazza San Marco in Venice are the pigeons. You buy a bag of seeds from vendors who are conveniently located in the square and then you get surrounded by pigeons who appear to be insatiable. Naturally photos must be taken. It's all in good fun.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used. -
