Classic shot
I consider this to be my very first "good shot." It was made with a folding Kodak Retina with a Schneider lens and Kodachrome II. I had
just returned from Europe where I hd taken some nice photos but on
this particilar one I attribute my beginning interest in photography. This was back in September of 1967, a long time ago.

Le Musée D'Orsay
This wonderful museum was originally a railway station opened for the exposition of 1900. By 1939 it had become obsolete. In the early seventies it was to be demolished but better heads prevailed and it was converted into a superb exhibition space. It has the premiere impressionistic collection in Paris or anywhere. I always vist it when I go to Paris. Not to be missed.
