That old itch

I had to suppress tht old itch to travel this spring because of unexpected but not serious medical problems that ironically affect my right eye or the one used to compose all my images before the advent of the iPhone that has become my only way to shoot until this problem is resolved, What can I say. So I look at archival images. These two shots are from Noto,  a remarkable town in Sicily not too far from Syracuse [Siracusa].  In 1600 an earthquake destroyed this place so ut was reconstructed with the baroque [barocco] style of the time. What was created was a super ornate and palatiol small city that has become a tourist favorite, Because it's proximity to the sea the food is delicious. I had the best octopus salad ever at a restaurant called Liberty. A must place to visit if one is in Sicily.

April fools delayed

Here in the NY area, nature played an April fools joke only one day late. Fortunately it all melted away before the end of the day. Go figure.

Archival street shot

This one was taken in Coney Island in the early seventies. Just ask and most people do not mind having their picture taken.
