We are in Mozia, Sicily and these images show the sea salt works. The windmills were once used to mill the salt. Now they are mere decorations since modern machinery is in use.

A treue classic


This image of Michelangelo's Davide in Florence gives you goose bumps. It is absolutely fascinatind and alive. As you can see, this is a very old image. It was shot on Tri-X with a Canon Ft and a 28,, F 3.5 Canon FL lens. Times flies.

Archival black and white

This image was shot in the summer of 1972 in Scopello, Sicily. I wonder what happens to the subjects immortalized by the camera. It is really uncanny that a photograph stops a moment in time and conserves it practically forever.
