My beloved birthplace

A night view of the castle of Castellammare del Golfo in Sicily. I cannot add any words to this image. I will be leaving it for a while  and return to the States. I will miss it. I always do.

Jackson Height, Queens

New York has always been the true malting pot but of all the five boroughs Queens is the most diverse and that is why it is so endearing. Jackson Height is an example of this. These images were shot on 37th Avenue and show the produce they sell. This is kind of a little India but the vendors are Hispanics. BTW, the Indian restaurants are excellent.

Vintage scans

These images are of a earth day event dating from the mid eighties in Manhattan-s Sixth Avenue. People had lots of fun and there was a mix environmental types all intent on saving the Earth. I'm happy that the planet is still here and it will be here for a very long time.
