Let the madness begin

Thanksgiving is actually the opening act to the real so called season. First of all it strengthens buyers up for the skirmishes of black Friday and it's the ouverture to the madness that the Christmas season has become. Never mind original intent, it's pure shopping craze. Of course the home decorations have also changed to reflect this kind of infantile mind set congruent to this shopping frenzy. Just my two cents.

Taken way back in the fall of 1973 when Coney Island went to sleep for the winter. With one of my trusted Leicas loaded with that magical Tri-X and a 90 mm Elmarit  F2.8. Those were the days.

There's always the greenhouse

As the weather gets increasingly wintry and nasty there's always the greenhouse to offer relief. I refer  to the ones in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. What a great way to escape if only temporarily.
