Hope springs eternal

Stay well, take care of yourselves

Greetings from New York

The city that never sleeps is taking a long nap. Madison Square Park and the Flat Iron Building on a spring day a few years ago. We are going through a serious period but, if we all pull together, we shall overcome this scourge. Take all necessary precautions but take no chances. Stay safe.

Early spring in happier times

What a treat. This is the most beautiful garden in New York City but alas, it's closed to the public now. Patience, this shall pass.

Where's everybody

In these days of isolation and social distancing, I allow mayself a lonely walk in the park with my dog. The streets and the park,  usually full of people are deserted. Nevertheless, I take no chances. Better be safe that sorry; to coin a phrase. BTW, these images were shot at about 7:30 AM when children are going to school and parents with their SUV's are crowding the streets and blocking traffic.

Hopefully we can do this again

Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself but this too shall pass and we can resume our normal lives and hopefully we may have learned that life is very precious and the many things we take for granted will assume new importance. Please stay safe. BTW, this stupendous garden always full of visitors is now closed to the public.

One from the archives

I used to pass this place when used to go to my Studio at 126 E 26 Street in Manhattan. I love the light and the man with the newspaper.
