The merry month of May

Some of my yard flowers. Cannot go too far these days so I shoot very close to home.

Something to look forward to

Hopefully by June we should be able to shop more freely and we may even be able to peruse the various farmers' markets. We shall see.

Solitude

Photography is able to capture all sorts of moods. One has to be ready. These two images show loneliness and solitude. Images of this sort are much stronger in black and white. Both shot with a Leica M2 with Summicron lenses and, naturally, Tri-X Pan. They go back quite a number of years.

I would just love to be there

Thinking of Sicily and  my beloved Castellammare del Golfo from whom I'm separated because of this terrible virus. I hope that I may be able to get there seen. For now pictures will have to do.
