December of 1977. The "tree" at Rockefeller Center. With the Leica M4, the 35mm Summicron and Tri-X in D 76. It does not get any better than this.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used. -

Do you still have that M4 rangefinder and, if so, how often do you use it now that digital has made so many advancements? Is there any particular type of setting you prefer to use the M4 in? Thanks --K
