Photo of the day, Jan. 24 2010 Nikon D700
My summer lunch. Hard Italian bread, is there any other kind of bread? with sea salt from Sicily and Italian olive oil. Sliced plum tomatoes also spinkled with salt and oil. The cheese is Sicilian primo sale pepato and the olives are also Sicilian from Castelvetrano. A touch od oregano could have been used but it can be too overpowering at times. Really delicious. Shot with the D700 and the 60mm f 2.8 Micro Nikkor. Just natural window light, no fills of any kind.
