This meat store is located on 186th Street and Arthur Avenue in the Belmont section of The Bronx, Of course Dion and the Belmonts came from here. This area has retained many of the stereotypical aspects of what people think a "little Italy" should be. It is a fascinating area. This photo was made with an Nikon S-2 rangefinder, a very rare camera, and Tri-X. The Nikkor 50mm F 1:1.4 was the lens.
This is one in the ONE IS ENOUGH series It was shot in the early eighties. The shop is still there.
as I feel that it's one of by better efforts.
Greetings, this blog is dedicated to my life in photography and my passion for good Italian food.. I want to make this a place to stop and relax. In the hope that this will provide some respite and peace. Thank you for visiting.
