The folks at Apple haves announced that they will end development of their Aperture photo
editing application. Instead, they focus on the
upcoming Photos for OS X software, which will be included in the next
version of Mac OS X (Yosemite). They will ensure compatibility with the
next version of OS X that will allow the importing of one's Aperture library
into the new Photos app. This can only be a boon to Lightroom and to Adobe. I am beginning to believe that the Widows system is better suited for serious photographers. I am talking about Wisows 7. Windows 8 is of course another matter.
