Say bye bye to Aperture

The folks at Apple haves announced that they will end development of their Aperture photo editing application.  Instead, they  focus on the upcoming Photos for OS X software, which will be included in the next version of Mac OS X (Yosemite). They will ensure compatibility with the next version of OS X that will allow the importing of one's Aperture library into the new Photos app.   This can only be a boon to Lightroom and to Adobe. I am beginning to believe that the Widows system is better suited for serious photographers. I am talking about Wisows 7. Windows 8 is of course another matter.
