Among my many photos there are those that I deem to be good enough to stand alone in a post. I show these from time ti time. This classic shot if of the Castle of Venus in Erice. The small medieval town on the northwest corner of Sicily sits atop a mountain called Monte San Giuliano and is an absolute gem. Right on it's Eastern side jutting out of the mountain lies this beautiful castle.
