Addio Mario
The
passing of Mario Cuomo greatly saddens me. I am proud to have been
his photographer for the 1977 run for Mayor and the subsequent and
successful gubernatorial election. I will always treasure is
friendship. He was a nice man and perhaps one of the rare honest men who
dealt in politics.
I like to remember him with this photo that dates from the fall of 1977 when he was at the height of his physical powers. I shall miss him. We, my wife Marcy and I, want to extend our condolences to Mrs Cuomo, the lovely Matilda, and the children one of whom is the current governor of NYS.
