This excellent museum is truly a national treasure. It has no admission fee and the art collections are spectacular. We went to see the current show on Piero di Cosimo, a lesser known Florentine painter whose work is nevertheless outstanding. Unlike New York where every event becomes super crowded, here one may see the exhibits in relative peace. It's absolutely worth a visit or two or three.....

The National Gallery
This excellent museum is truly a national treasure. It has no admission fee and the art collections are spectacular.
