Lost souls?

I shot these images a few days ago while visiting some friends in Northampton, Long Island. After a nice pranzo or lunch, we walked to the beach. The images are rather eerie and appear those of lost souls wondering endlessly for rest or whatever souls seek when they wonder if they wonder at all or if souls exist at all......
