During the sixties and up to the eighties, making the scene was all the rage. It was a way to re invent oneself if only for a brief moment and hoping that the world saw them in the way that they wanted to be seen. Alas, Pirandello showed us that this was not possible because each person sees another in a unique way. But it was fun. New Yorkers were so used to this that they hardly paid attention any more. Now it has all changed with constant texting and messaging. But this is a story for another time. Here these two were making the scene hoping to be at least noted.
