Living in New York one cannot help falling in love with Central Park. It may not be as fancy as the Jarden de Luxembourg of Paris or Villa Borghese in Rome, but it has something unique that makes it a New York park. Here are two archival photos from the seventies showing the carriages that are a central part of the park mystique. No pun intended.
