Main Street

It's a struggle for small stores in rural US main streets to survive. The lure of the shopping mall being what it is has created a dire situation for the old type store. The reality is that the small main street store has fallen on hard times. What was once a street that had all sorts of stores now it has been transformed in so called antique shoppes and eateries. Too bad. Here are a few shots of Main Street in Honesdale, PA this summer.
