I was returning home very late one summer night and as I was walking -left to right- I came upon this sight. I would always see Via degli Archi [Avenue of the Arches] full of people but at this time it was totally empty but fascinating. I only took one shot because in those days I was still thinking film that naturally was costly. When I downloaded the image I realized that I had hit the proverbial jackpot. It is one of my favorite shots of by Beloved Castellammare del Golfo.
