Segesta, the temple

A wonderful Greek temple in the doric style that is noteworthy for it's lack of a cella, or an internal structure that was part of all other Greek temples. The reason for this is open to much speculation. No matter, it is well preserved as all Greek temples are in Sicily and along with the amphitheater it makes for a must place to visit. It is very close to Castellammare so every time someone visit I take a trip to Segesta.
