Tammurinari Sicilian folk drummers

In the old days, before all the modern communications, the tammurinari were the news outlets. They would use their drums to get attention and then they would recite news and local adverts. Now the tradition is carried on by very dedicated folk drummers who want to keep the drumming part alive.
