Nice and easy


 This is simplicity in itself but it's a very appropriate lunch meal for a nasty winter day

Escarole boiled in salted water served with old bread.

Take a soup plate, put in a dash o good Evo, a finely minced garlic and some black pepper. Add the hot escarole and its coking water. Stir and add more oil and more black pepper. Serve with slices of hard bread. It's done. It will warm you up. Save the rest of the water for adding to soups.
