 The newly renovated Castello di Venere or Castle of Venus. Situated below Erice, a medieval village above the city of Trapani on the northwestern corner of Sicily. Now tourists can visit this lovely castle. The best way to go to Erice is to Park your car and take the fantastic modern cable car that offers splendid views of Trapani and its salt marches.
