There's a say in Italy that nothing gets thrown out in the kitchen or everything is used. No waste. I had some penne liscie pasta and some thick cut bacon so I made a sauce of diced tomatoes, onions, bacon and a dash of powdered red pepper. A nice and economical dish. Very tangy and tasty.
