Anelletti or little rings are an exclusively Sicilian type of pasta. They are usually prepared in a tomato sauce with ground beef and peas and then they are baked. Muddica atturrata or toasted bread crumbs are sprinkled on top. Well I did not bake them and instead added ricotta and grated Sicilian pecorino to the dish. The result was phenomenal.
