Making a zuppa di pesce or a fish soup at home requires too much time and efforts and for two people it's not feasible. By the time you get the required ingredients you have a really big soup. I prepare this glorious dish when we have company. When we want a great zuppa we go to Rustico Taverna at 6517 Fresh Pond Road in Queens NYC. BTW, the word zuppa is used instead of suppa to indicate a heartier and more complex soup, like a chowder. Anyway, the food here is great as well as the service, not to mention the presentation that begs for a photo.
