Classic shot

I love this image shot on Tri-X and a canon FT with a 50mm F 1.4 FL Canon lens. Close and personal. This image dates from the summer of 1972 and the place is Scopello, Sicily.

Vintage shot

I love this old image shot in Central Park South in front of the old Plaza hotel. It looks like something from Victorian times in London.

Archival black and white

This image was shot in the summer of 1972 in Scopello, Sicily. I wonder what happens to the subjects immortalized by the camera. It is really uncanny that a photograph stops a moment in time and conserves it practically forever.

A view from my window

I had a photo studio on East 26th Street in Manhattan many years ago. It was a nice location and afforded me many nice views. This is the entrance of the building directly across the street.

The Paris zoo

Although I'm opposed to the idea of zoos as in keeping animals in cages, the Paris Zoo, like the New York zoo are places where  animals have space to roam but up to a point, of course. These images shot on Kodachrome II back in 1972.

The old and the new. Manhattan lower west side shot from the High Line.
