There used to be a garden

Yes indeed. There used to be a garden that was the replica of the famous pebbles garden in Kyoto. I visited both and was astounded at their similarity. Each day the pebbles were arranged differently and one could meditate while looking at them. Naturally, in the name of progress, it was demolished in the eighties along with most of the original green houses to build new ones that are not only ugly but already look dated. What can I say. At least we have photos to remember the way things were. These are Kodachromes that I scanned at high resolution.
