Saturday in the park many moons ago

It was wonderful to go to Central Park on weekends when people interacted with one another. No smart phones, no social media or even cell phones. People participated and talked to one another. Today, everyone is either messaging someone far away or taking smart phone photos of every inane thing or event. Progress? Give me a break.
