Breezy Point

This gated community in Queens, New  York City, is a fascinating place. In the city proper but it could really be in another world. It's homes are very close to one another and on small lots that are sandy. Mostly used as summer dwellings, there's an increasingly growing number of year round residents.

Amacord

From Fellini's great movie. In the Romanesque language it means I remember. This is how i remember my dear New York. A Saturday in Washington Square park in June of 1969 with the Canon FT and Tri-X. It really seems as if it were only yesterday.

Risotto with beans and thick bacon. My own recipe. A filling and delicious dish.
