This superb dish, a variation of the Sicilian dish pasta picchiu pacchiu was created by my friend Laura at the Long Island home of her sister Francesca. It was a great fathers day lunch. This pasta has basically cherry tomatoes, garlic and basil. Laura added crushed almonds and walnuts and sprinked it with bread crumbs.
