Old memories od a warmer place
The valley of the temples [ la valle dei templi ] in Agrigento originally Agrakas, is one of those places that inspire and point to man's unlimited poptential. I return there often but these shots are from my first visit way back when. All shot on Kodachrome II with the canon FT. The color from these scans si amazing consider the age of the images. I always wonder what happened to the little girls walking between the columns. She was part of a wedding party. It is customary for wedding parties to have photos taken in the temples.
BTW, the best preserved temples and monuments in all Magna Grecia including Greece itself are found in Sicily.
