 OK, you have heard about Sicilian eggplants or Italian eggplants. This is the real deal; a Sicilian eggplant from my favorite farmers market in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily. Just superb. The cross on top indicates the price. For this beauty I paid one euoro. BTW, it had been picked about one hour before.
