I had to suppress tht old itch to travel this spring because of unexpected but not serious medical problems that ironically affect my right eye or the one used to compose all my images before the advent of the iPhone that has become my only way to shoot until this problem is resolved, What can I say. So I look at archival images. These two shots are from Noto, a remarkable town in Sicily not too far from Syracuse [Siracusa]. In 1600 an earthquake destroyed this place so ut was reconstructed with the baroque [barocco] style of the time. What was created was a super ornate and palatiol small city that has become a tourist favorite, Because it's proximity to the sea the food is delicious. I had the best octopus salad ever at a restaurant called Liberty. A must place to visit if one is in Sicily.
Greetings, this blog is dedicated to my life in photography and my passion for good Italian food.. I want to make this a place to stop and relax. In the hope that this will provide some respite and peace. Thank you for visiting.
