A tale of an image that was transformed. The top image, the original, was shot way back in September, 1967. Obviously it's Venice. Then, I knew little about photography except for the fact that Kodachrome II was the best slide film. Over the years I've learned a thing or two so I wanted to work on this vintage shot that I like very much especially since it has the Rialto bridge in the background. I think that the bottom image is better. As usual, I ask myself where does time go?

The great Luciano Pavarotti at the Columbus Day Parade of 1980 when he was the grand Marshall. A great and wonderfal man.
