 Another vintage archival find.Dover, Englang way back in August, 1969. The white cliffs dominate the town. Children buying ice cream on the street. Shot originally on Agfachrome 50 but it has turned purple so I converted toblack and white. I used my Canon FT with the 28mm F3.5 FL lens.

 Fish monger with kart and donkey. Way back in 1969 when there were still scenes such as these in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily before it became touristy and karts became a curiosity. I shot this with my Canon FT and the great 50 mm F 1.4 FL lens on good old Kodak Tri-X. I remember as if ie were yesterday.

 The South Street Seaport in Manhattan in the early nineties. Like anything in NY it attracted and still does huge crowds.

 Butcher shop in Little Italy, The Bronx. Arthur Avenue and 186 Street in the mid eighties. I has just bought a used Nikon S-2 rangefinder with a 35mm F 3.5 Nikkor lens. A very rare camera. I eventually was able to get a Nikon SP rangefinder. These were not as versatile as my Leicas but rarity made all the difference and the lenses were first class. These were the cameras that made the Nikon brand so famous and the work horse of us pros for a very long time. BTW, I cannot believe the prices on the meat.

 The Louvre Museum metro station in Paris. A vintage Ektachrome from 1970. It'e even more beautiful now.

 One of my first attempts at taking photos instead of snapshots. Back in early 1968, upstate NY with my first SLR, A KOWA SETR camera with a leaf shutter. It was not a bad camera but I soon change it for my first real SLR, a Canon FT. The film was Ektachrome X. Slowly I began to realize that I was on the right track.

 Another archival travel photo of a shoe shine man shot in June of 1974 in Malaga, Spain. Looking at the bell bottoms pants everybody wears is enough to date image.

 A tale of an image that was transformed. The top image, the original, was shot way back in September, 1967. Obviously it's Venice. Then, I knew little about photography except for the fact that Kodachrome II was the best slide film. Over the years I've learned a thing or two so I wanted to work on this vintage shot that I like very much especially since it has the Rialto bridge in the background. I think that the bottom image is better. As usual, I ask myself where does time go?

 A vintage Ektachrome shot somewhere in upstate NY at a yard sale. It's that time of the year.
