What a way to earn a living

Beach sellers walk back and forth on the long beach and try to sell their wares. They are mostly African men but there are also some  young Chinese women. It's very hot and that contraption is very heavy and bulky. A very hard way to make a living.

Siena. la cattedrale

The cathedral in Siena is a wonderful site full of mysterious symbols. Especially on the floor mosaics, These images are of the main entrance. Siena is really a must see city if one visits Tuscany.

Montmartre

A visit to Montmartre in Paris is absolutely necessary. From there you get a great view of the city and will be amazed at all that is going on. These were two young singers who sang very well. There are great places to eat and one can get a glimpse of what Paris was long ago.

How time flies



These images are from my very first trip to Venice back in 1967. They were shot with a Kodak Retina 35mm folding camera. What is interesting is that the couple in the gondola should be hopefully celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year. How time flies.
