More 6X6 images

My Yashicamat 124 was a revelation. This was especially true with color slide film. These images made afetr an excursion in late summer to the country to buy fresh fruits and vegetable were shot on Ektachrome 100 120 film. The colors remainded true after many years.

Archival slide scan

Shot in Torre Molinas Spain long ago with a Nikon FTn. a 35mm f2.8 Nikkor lens and on the then new Kodachrome 25 that had just replaced the legendary Kodachrome II. The ISO. then called ASA. was a mere 25. Taking a picture required some skills then. Now of course cameras shoot practically in the dark and since it costs nothing to shoot a great number of photos are taken and the so called best are archived. Nevertheless, this ease has merely improved the level of mediocrity. Everybody is a photographer and an artist these days. Good for them.

Three images from Tangiers that I found as a result of my scanning and digitizing my images. These go back to 1974 and were shot on Kodachrome II with the Ninkon F.

Simple composition

Pictures are literally everywhere, one must have  l'occhio vivo or a sharp eye. This simple shot resulted frpm a Port Authority tour of the New York Harbor back in 1974. It was originally shot in color but the black and white conversion works better.

Dig we must

As I dig deeper into my archives to sort things out and scan as many negatives as possible, I come across images that I had forgotten I had made. This dates from a trip to West Virginia in the early seventies. It's a panorama shot on Tri-X  Pan with the Leica M-4 and the 35mm Summicron F2. I think that it's an image that can be added to my portfolio.
