It's about the food

The Italian American neighborhood feasts feature lots of food. Sausage and peppers, classic Italian American food is probably the most common feature followed by zeppole. You would think that these are the only foods of Italian cuisine. They are actually a far cry from what is eaten in Italy these days. As photo ops, the food stands are unbeatable.

Tonight it's all over

Tonight is the last day of the Feast at OL of Mt. Carmel on Brooklyn. These photos are from the current feast. I will post some more because I went there after a long absence and shot a few interesting images that I will share.
