Silly trick
When you enter a green house in the winter and your camera is cold, upon entering, the lens will fog up. Now it's time to get some fast shots while the resultant images are very soft. A great way to shoot women who are really vain but I digress. These were all shot at the Planting Fields Arboretum; a nice place to visit on cold winter days.

It's about the food
The Italian American neighborhood feasts feature lots of food. Sausage and peppers, classic Italian American food is probably the most common feature followed by zeppole. You would think that these are the only foods of Italian cuisine. They are actually a far cry from what is eaten in Italy these days. As photo ops, the food stands are unbeatable.

Early digital work
Shot in early March of 2002 with the Olympus E-10, a very competent 4 mega pixels camera that had a very nice lens. This is the old waterworks building, I believe, in Freeport, Long Island.
