Walking Charlie

He who must be walked. A daily routine that begins with my very early rise and beginning the walk at about 7:00 AM. Juniper Valley Park is a block away and the walk begins in earnest. Always armed with my iPhone, I occasionally see interesting light so I fire away- The weather has been very wet and rainy so the morning light creates some nice opportunities. After 50 or so years of shooting, I'm still at it.

Morning walk

Snow in the park this morning. It's still winter but it's almost two thirds gone. There's hope.

There's still magic

Early in the morning at sunrise one can still take interesting shots because the light is very special. Although the fall is ending fast, there's still magic and color if you keep your eyes open.

Morning light

I walk my dog early each morning at the local park  so I notice how the light  interacts with the trees and the grass that  still don't show any signs of fall. I have been taking along my Olynpus EPL-2 with a manual focus Voigtalnder 28mm M Leica mount lens with an adapter. I just love the Micro Four Thirds system because it allows me a great choice in lenses especially in reviving some older lenses that are optically splendid and would go unused otherwise

unused.

Looks like the last of the foliage here in North East Pennsylvania. Too bad, winter is just around the corner.
