It's always the light but finding it is the important part. Occhio vivo or keep yours eyes open for it. It's elusive and ephemeral but it can always be found in the early morning and late in the day provided the sun has shown it's face. I must walk the Catahoula early every morning so thanks to my iPhone I always try to capture the light. It's really not that hard.
Greetings, this blog is dedicated to my life in photography and my passion for good Italian food.. I want to make this a place to stop and relax. In the hope that this will provide some respite and peace. Thank you for visiting.

Walking Charlie
He who must be walked. A daily routine that begins with my very early rise and beginning the walk at about 7:00 AM. Juniper Valley Park is a block away and the walk begins in earnest. Always armed with my iPhone, I occasionally see interesting light so I fire away- The weather has been very wet and rainy so the morning light creates some nice opportunities. After 50 or so years of shooting, I'm still at it.
