 You haven't see Venice until you wonder in one of the countless narrow alleys and, naturally, get lost. Most of Venice is made up of these streets where you can stretch your arms and touch the opposite walls.

 Wonderful Burano a very colorful island near Venice among it's many attributes, each house is painted a different color. A must visit if one visits Venice.

         There's always Venice to fill bring up the rear. There are no words to describe this jewel on the Adriatic Sea. Not a city but a phenomenon. I always find new wonders each time I go there. This is Piazza San Marco under a clear and blue Italian sky.

Back to the past.

I realize that for most of you, 1967, is ancient history; not for me. I see it as being just yesterday. However, although I knew nothing about the technical aspects of photography, I was beginning to form an eye for it and slowly photography became my passion. The film was Kodachrome II and the camera was a Kodak 35mm folding Retina. Nothing fancy but I believe that it had a light meter of sorts.

Sometimes it's hard to find images especially during this difficult time. So I find an image of Venice to post.

  The question is always what to cook. I had a nice eggplant and some really good Lucio Garofalo paste called schiaffoni , a very funny name...
