Another shot of cousin Grace from Washington DC A real character. Shot with my first Leica, an M4 with the 50mm Summicron F 2. Naturally, the film was Tri-X.

This is the way real pesto genovese is prepared. After you prepare the pesto, you cook the pasta along with string beans and a finely cut up potato. The taste is unbelievable.

An An old, abandoned barn in northeastern Pennsylvania shot with a Rolleiflex and Tri-X

Another delicious and simple food consumed at our Sicilian block party. Pani cunzatu  that literally means fancied up bread. This is the original version that is basically home made bread with superb local olive oil and incanestrato cheese or Sicilian pecorino cheese. The new and more complex version features anchovies, tomatoes, lighter cheese and oregano. It's nice but the original version is more to my liking..

There's always something happening on the left Bank of Paris. Here we see a very talented jazz trio and a singer putting on a show.

There's something unsettling when visiting Coney Island off season. It's like looking at a skeleton. But it always allows the taking of interesting photos.

Everything is more flavorful in Sicily. This simple dish of bucatini with simple tomato sauce is an example. I used fresh tomatoes that had been picked early in the morning and made a superbly tasty lunch dish.
