The Fourth of July holiday is  almost upon us and the country is getting ready to celebrate

Winter scenes

With winter here, can spring be far behind? Well winter is here and no matter what the optimists may say it's long, tiresome and utterly nasty, It does provide for some photo ops and for this I am thankful.

Vintage cabooses

These cabooses are part of the vintage train cars collection in Honesdale, Pennsylvania the home of American railroads. Here is where the very first trainss ran. These cabooses are being restored at the present time. They are very colorful These images are unretouched out of camera iPhone images.

The back alley

Back alleys are especially popular in Pennsylvania and they add a special charm to towns and villages. This one is in Milford, PA.

Lancaster County

Pennsylvania's Lancaster County is one of the most visited tourist area in the US. Because of this popularity, it is losing it's original feel and quality. To many touristy places. The Amish farms are still there and so are some of the smaller villages but you must go these soon before it all becomes plastic and spurious.

Old lamps

These oil lamps in  an antiques shop attracted my attention so, naturally, I photographed them.

North Eastern Fall / Autunno nel nord est degli States

There's no more beautiful sight than the fall foliage in the north eastern part of the States. The vivid  colors contrasting with the blue skies create a photographer's paradise. There's no other place where this colorful display takes place.

Credo che non esista un ambiente piu' bello del fogliame autunnale nel nord est degli States. Colori vividi si contrastano con cieli azzurri creando un vera estasi per un fotografo.
