Shot in Selinunte Sicily on a very hot day. I like the way the subject arches along with the olive tree forming a coherent circle. Selinunte was razed by Carthage in one of the Punic wars. It's all ruins and pieces of monuments strewn on the ground. some have been partially reconstructed but it's a very complicated jigsaw puzzle.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
