Newport, Rhode Island; a town so wealthy that this musical couple didn't have a recepticle to collect money. They played delightfully.

This image was shot in the early seventies by talented my wife, Marcy, with her Canon FT and the 50mm F 1.8 FL lens on Kodachrome II. I kept encouraging her but after our children arrived, she unfortunately lost interest. Too bad. This lovely image was taken at Westerly, Rhode Island.

Another archival or vintage photo shot by my lovely and talented wife, Marcy in the fall of 1972. An abandoned Mill in Westerly, Rhode Island. Wonderful composition.

Basically Italian American fare but I was able to have a decent  prosciutto and mozzarella hero that unfortunately was almost ruined by the de rigueur  balsamic dressing. I despise anything balsamic. This is perhaps a result of my non conformist nature but I find balsamic dressing to be hard to take. At any rate the prosciutto was tasty and the mozzarella fresh. The bread crusty and due to my great hunger these minor faults were easily overcome. It is a fun place to visit but it's nor Arthur Avenue in The Bronx. This area will be featured soon.

Rhode Island

These photos were shot in Rhode Island right after the passing of a storm. The sea was so grey that the black and white conversions are rather effective.

I love the sea. Born on a town on the sea, I just crave the salty air, the sea breezes. the mist and the entire majesty of it all.

I utilized the Napa cabbage bought at a farmers market as a side dish with a stir fry of potatoes, bacon, unions, and shaved beef. The Napa...
