I don't profess any ability to prepare Thai food although I'm very partial to it. These are gyoza dumpling that are sold frozen by Trader Joe. I sauteed them in olive and sesame oil, and soy sauce. I added a dash of water to produce that steamed flavor. They were accompanied with a stir fry of a yellow pepper, onions and broccoli spears that were lightly steamed. The result: a delicious meal different from my usual fare.

Sometimes when there's little time I try frozen items that are not in the Italian food ambit. Each cuisine has delicious foods. Here are Japanese gyoza from Trader Joes prepared with sesame oil the result was delicious. I then added some sweet pepper sauce. I know that this is cheating but who cares. It's the taste and satisfaction that counts. As really famous Italian, Macchiavelli wrote: the end justifies the means. The mashed sweet potatoes were prepared by yours truly.
